چکیده

Co3O4 coated on open-cell metallic foams, which can merge the catalytic activity of and advantages derived from geometry support, are promising for environmental applications such as decomposition N2O (deN2O). This study demonstrates how it is possible to easily reproducibly prepare a well-adhered layer with similar specific surface area materials prepared precipitation method (∼ 23 m2 g−1 coating) controlled thickness FeCrAlloy foams different porosity dimension by electrosynthesis Co(OH)2 followed thermal treatment (600 °C). The obtained structured catalysts show stable performance after three cycles between 250 550 °C, T50 approximately 460 comparable combustion or precipitated but provides lower pressure drop. Under operating conditions sequential test, presence NO and/or O2 in feed gas inhibits partially while H2O shows slight enhancement conversion at temperature above 450 °C.

Catalytic Decomposition of N2O over Cu–Zn/ZnAl2O4 Catalysts

The catalytic decomposition of N2O was investigated over Cu-Zn/ZnAl2O4 catalysts in the temperature range of 400–650 ◦C Catalytic samples have been prepared by wet impregnation method. Prepared catalysts were characterized using several techniques like BET surface area, X-ray diffraction (XRD), and Scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The Cu-Zn/ZnAl2O4 showed higher catalytic performance along w...

Electrophoretic deposition of MnCr2O4 coating for solid oxide fuel cell metallic interconnects

In the present study, Mn - Cr spinel powder was synthesized through a solid state reaction. In the next step, the electrophoretic deposition (EPD) method was used to apply the MnCr2O4 spinel, as an oxidation-resistant layer, on SUS 430 stainless steel in a potential of 300 V/cm. The coated and uncoated samples were then pre-sintered in air at 900 °C for 3 h followed by cyclic oxidation at 800 °...

Effect of RhOx/CeO2 Calcination on Metal-Support Interaction and Catalytic Activity for N2O Decomposition

The effect of the calcination conditions on the catalytic activity for N2O decomposition of 2.5% RhOx/CeO2 catalysts has been investigated. Ramp and flash calcinations have been studied (starting calcinations at 25 or 250/350 °C, respectively) both for cerium nitrate and ceria-impregnated rhodium nitrate decomposition. The cerium nitrate calcination ramp has neither an effect on the physico-che...

Nanosize Control on Porous β-MnO2 and Their Catalytic Activity in CO Oxidation and N2O Decomposition

A major challenge in the synthesis of porous metal oxides is the control of pore size and/or wall thickness that may affect the performance of these materials. Herein, nanoporous β-MnO₂ samples were prepared using different hard templates, e.g., ordered mesoporous silica SBA-15 and KIT-6, disordered mesoporous silica, and colloidal silica. These samples were characterized by Powder X-Ray Diffra...
